THE first of a series of business breakfasts with top speakers, arranged by the South Coast Chamber of Commerce and Industry, takes place at the Port Shepstone Country Club on March 11 at 8am.
President of the chamber, Ivan Naidoo, said the goal was to bring real value to the business community.
First up is acclaimed speaker Tony de Sousa, of Telkom, who will bring everyone up to speed about exciting developments in the digital world.
“Tony is the managing executive at Telkom Business Solutions with focus on digitalisation and taking new innovative Enterprise ICT solutions to market,” said Mr Naidoo.
“He built and led the team that delivered Africa’s first mobile IT platform and spent 18 years abroad in Europe and US where he held VP sales roles at a number of multinational ICT companies. He is also recognised as one of the top 10 My World of Tomorrow conference speakers.
“Businesses that do not keep up with the fast paced technology will surely run out of steam if competitors are at the leading edge of technology – especially communication and using social media platforms as a strategic communications tool which has redefined the way we work and market our goods and service.”
In the same vein, Fortune Nkwanyana, a marketing and branding expert from Durban-based Blue Fortune Communications will tell all about how to use these platforms to increase business market share.
